The opening scene of A Link to the Past is one of my all time favorites. It was one of the first video game moments I can remember giving me chills.
Agreed.
Now in the year 3991, his world is down to three super-nations, each competing for dwindling resources, and a planet left scarred by multiple nuclear wars.
Poetic…or was it poignant.
I found this video oddly moving. These games have always pushed my mind to bigger and better ideas. Some try to blame games for today’s violence. I say they have helped drive the human collective conciseness forward.
